'Say it with Books ' Photobook course online - weekly for 6 weeks. Commences Monday 24 February 2025.
6 classes over 6 weeks. 1.5 - 2 hours per session. Mondays at 18.00 (GMT +1)
The course covers all of the stages of book production from an idea and a collection of images right through to producing a photobook as a PDF ready to print or as an upload directly via book publishing software.
We cover image selection, sequencing, layout, software options, typography, storytelling, format, paper selection, cover design, publishing options and more.
With just nine participants in a group there is time to share ideas, support each other, and feel motivated to work steadily, week by week , until a beautiful book is born. All you need is a collection of images, a laptop or desktop computer and a willingness to use Zoom. Participants should have either Lightroom Book Module or Affinity Publisher. If you have neither of these please get in touch with me before booking.
I do not spend time teaching the basics of these softwares, but point you in the direction of lots of resources that will enable you to learn any software skills that you may not already have mastered.
All classes are recorded, so if for any reason you cannot attend a session, you will not miss out.
